Cultural Safaris in Kenya

Kenya consist of 42 tribes, their history, cultures, traditions are as diverse as their geographical locations. Over the years however, many have either diluted, discarded or completely done away with these traditions and embraced modern/western lifestyles, this is especially evident with those living in urban centers’.

The few remaining tribes that still adhere to their traditional ways of life are mainly the pastoral communities and those found around water bodies where fishing is an integral part of their live e.g. the Njemps, the Turkana and El molo. Most of these communities leave in parts of the country that are off the beaten track and where infrastructure like roads, hotels and lodges are still underdeveloped.
