February Migration
This is the calving month!The front part of the migration is settled between Lake Ndutu and Naabi gate and the tail part still milling around the Ngorongoro conservation area,the surrounding plains and woodland are active with wildebeest.Wherever guests drive,they pass vast herds of wildebeest bulls,adolescent and mothers,most of whom,have given birth to their biscuit colored youngsters sticking close to their sides.Such a plethora of babies is all due to the due to the interesting survival strategy wildebeest have evolved by sychronizing their births.If buffalo plod and aardvarks trundle then wildebeest calves gambols!There are literally thousands of the them to be seen gamboling around besides their mothers
