5 Nights Kenya and Tanzania Safari

Highlights:

Day 1:

• Arrive in Nairobi
• Upon arrival at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta international airport, met and transferred to the hotel.
• Overnight at the Nairobi Serena Hotel or Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel (Bed and Breakfast)  

Amboseli National Park

• Nestled in the foothills of Kilimanjaro, this national park offers the best chance of a close-up view of the African savannah Elephants grazing in the open plains or wallowing in the mud. Kilimanjaro's 6,000-meter high snow-capped peaks towers above the park and presiding over the landscape, which boasts more big game than almost anywhere else in Africa.

Day 2:

• Nairobi Amboseli National Park
• Breakfast at the hotel, depart to the Amboseli National Park arriving for lunch at the Lodge. After lunch proceed on the afternoon game drives in the park.

• Dinner and overnight in Amboseli National Park at Safari Lodge or Tented Camp

Day 3:

• Amboseli National Park
• Breakfast at the lodge. Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park, within this park is a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, which flood during years of heavy rainfall. Amboseli is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty- the landscape is dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro and ‘floating’ elephants within the swamps.
• Dinner and overnight in Amboseli National Park at Safari Lodge or Tented Camp 

Day 4:

• Amboseli to Arusha onto Ngorongoro Conservation Area
• Early breakfast at the lodge; depart to the Namanga border between Kenya and Tanzania for custom and immigration formalities and vehicle exchange. Thereafter continue to Arusha for lunch and proceed through the coffee and wheat firms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands arriving mid afternoon at the Ngorongoro Serena safari lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Safari Lodge.
• Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Safari Lodge 

Day 5:

• Ngorongoro Crater
• Early breakfast at the Ngorongoro. Descend to the crater floor for a full day of game viewing drives with picnic lunch served by the Hippo Pool. Later in the evening ascend and return to the lodge.
• Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Safari Lodge 

Day 6:

• Ngorongoro to Arusha onto departure
• Breakfast at the lodge; depart on a leisurely drive back to Arusha and connect the Shuttle bus to Nairobi arriving late afternoon and dropped off at the Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your departure flight home
• End of our services:

• 4 nights on full board basis in Amboseli National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.

• Ground transportation in a custom safari minivan in Kenya on exclusive basis and in a 4x4 top of the market land cruiser vehicle in Tanzania also on exclusive basis with services of a driver guide
• 2 bottles of water (300ml) per person per day in the vehicle

 
Services not included

• International airfares and visa entry charges to Tanzania (About US$50 per person)
• Items of personal use e.g. drinks, laundry, telephone, tips, personal travel insurance
• Extra/outdoor activities offered by the individual lodges or hotels and any other service not mentioned above

Terms and conditions:

• Children: 2-12 years if sharing with adults are charged 75% of the adult rates, if on own room full amount as adults. 
• Ketas Safaris requires a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the safari and the balance 60 days prior to the arrival for clients to safeguard the reservation.
• Reservations will be cancelled if the final payment is not received by the due date with full loss of deposit.

Cancellations:

• All cancellation must made in writing to Ketas Safaris and all cancellation will be charged a cancellation penalty depending on the number of days before tour departure:
• Between 45 days and 30 days      No refund of the deposit
• Less than 30 days                        No refund of the land cost
• There is no refund of any unused portion of your safari once commenced. Cancellation penalties on Airfare are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges.

  
Important Information:

• Tour cost are based on all known costs and rates of exchange as at the 01st October 2011, any significant changes beyond the control of Ketas Safaris will be passed on to passengers.
• Ketas Safaris also retain the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions. Ketas Safaris also retains the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour for any reason or if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard and/or inconvenience other passengers.
