Selous Game Reserve
Covering 50,000sq km, this is the largest game reserve in the Africa. The reserve supports an enormous number of elephants, buffalos and wildebeests. Other rare species include the African Hunting dog. The park provides home for some of the last remaining black rhinos.

Day 1:

Arrive Selous National Game Reserve

• Upon arrival at the Steigler’s airstrip, met and transferred to the Mivumo River Lodge. Lunch at the Lodge then afternoon game drives (Or choice of boat ride)
• Dinner and overnight at the Mivumo River Lodge 

Day 2:

Selous Game Reserve

• Morning game drive (or Boat ride) safari followed by lunch. Thereafter proceed on the afternoon game drives to explore the reserve as the famous explorers did in the yester years
• Dinner and overnight at the Mivumo River Lodge

Day 3:

Selous to Dar onto Departure

• Morning game viewing drive, transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam.

• Extra/outdoor activities offered by the individual lodges or hotels and any other service not mentioned above

Terms and conditions:

• Children: 2-12 years if sharing with adults are charged 75% of the adult rates, if on own room full amount as adults. 
• Ketas Safaris requires a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost upon confirmation of the safari and the balance 60 days prior to the arrival for clients to safeguard the reservation.
• Reservations will be cancelled if the final payment is not received by the due date with full loss of deposit.

Cancellations:

• All cancellation must made in writing to Ketas Safaris and all cancellation will be charged a cancellation penalty depending on the number of days before tour departure:
• Between 45 days and 30 days      No refund of the deposit
• Less than 30 days                        No refund of the land cost
• There is no refund of any unused portion of your safari once commenced. Cancellation penalties on Airfare are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges.

  
Important Information:

• Tour cost are based on all known costs and rates of exchange as at the 01st March 2011, any significant changes beyond the control of Ketas Safaris will be passed on to passengers.
• Ketas Safaris also retain the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions. Ketas Safaris also retains the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour for any reason or if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard and/or inconvenience other passengers.
